Whitlingham Country Park
Whitlingham Country Park sits on the outskirts of Norwich. The park includes two broads, a river, meadows, wetlands and ancient woodland making it an attractive option for visitors in and around the city.

Around 300,000 people visit it annually for a range of activities and as part of a wider piece of work, the operational team wants to consider how it delivers its long-term vision to improve facilities, provide new opportunities, enhance the habitats and work in partnership for sustainable growth.

I am undertaking a visitor experience review with them, focused on how the existing offer can be improved, how it could be developed further to drive engagement and income and to consider how the park can generate more income to invest.

Working in partnership with Swallowtail Earth, who are focused on the land management, and Norfolk Wildlife Trust, who are leading the audience research, I am producing a five-year plan to support visitor-focused development on the site.
The work will be completed in December 2024.
