The Grade II Listed Iron Duke is a rare and unusual example of An Art Deco public house close to the beach in Great Yarmouth. It was boarded up in 2007 and has stood empty ever since.

 

The Great Yarmouth Preservation Trust wants to restore the pub to its former glory and has received an NLHF grant to explore options and develop a business plan to protect its future.

 

I am leading a public consultation for the project aimed at seeking local views on the development plans, including a social media survey and community consultation event.

 

The project started in June 2023.
