Biggin Hill Memorial Museum
Biggin Hill Memorial Museum had been open for just nine months when the Covid-19 pandemic forced it to close.
Having had such a short time to establish itself, but long enough to understand some of its opportunities and challenges, the team wanted to use its Culture Recovery Grant to develop its offer for new and existing audiences.
Working closely with the team, I reviewed the museum’s current visitor profile and explored opportunities to attract new audiences to drive its overarching business objectives. I also delivered a visitor experience review to support the work, resulting in a three-year audience development plan.
The work was delivered in eight days, including a site visit, Zoom meetings and desk research to shape the plan with needed to be practical and deliverable.
Museum director Katie Edwards said: “Throughout this project Amanda worked closely with the team to ensure the best possible outcomes, incorporating a variety of methods both qualitative and quantitative.
“I would not hesitate to recommend Amanda Forecast. She is a highly skilled and experienced consultant, a joy to work with and the consistently high-quality outcomes she delivers are excellent value for money.”
